POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

We are looking for an HR Generalist & Industrial Relation specialist, who will  manage employee relations, industrial relations , and HR processes like recruitment, performance Management, international mobility, benefits, training and development and specific projects related to the Technology Center in Bridgestone EMIA ( TCE).

In the area of  industrial relations, the role will run as specialist for the Technology Center of BSEMIA . In this responsibility (S)he will ensure creation , execution and maintenance of CBA, local agreements , relation with Unions . (S)he will contribute to alignment and consistency across all the Italian locations , through sharing of new regulations, practice , processes that might be relevant at Country level.

(S)he has to master Italian legislation and Industrial Relation, ensuring duly and timely implementation of any change in legislation.

 

Responsibilities:

Industrial Relation :

  • Coordinate and Manage all relations involving unions in TCE both at company and external unions bodies
  • Advise on contract negotiations and similar management-union relations and Ensure the HR staff in TCE  is knowledgeable about union contract compliance
  • Create and revise union contracts ( CBAs, local agreements )
  • Prepare and Maintain  documentation related to industrial relations
  • Provide first point of contact advice on the interpretation of CBA,  legislation and relevant application of industrial relations instruments
  • Undertake research (legislation, industrial instruments, industrial bulletins, media, etc) to provide information on current industrial issues
  • Manage industrial relation dispute resolution
  • Monitor organizational change processes – in cooperation with local HRBPs - and provide proactive advice to mitigate the risk of industrial disputes and ensure compliance with organizational policies
  • Ensure full knowledge and compliance to Italian legislation and Industrial Relation laws and regulations , with  duly and timely implementation of any change in legislation.
  • Collaborate, as needed, with our SalesCo in Milano and Manufacturing Plant in Bari to ensure a consistent country approach
  • Manage “Categorie Protette”

Recruitment:

  • In line with headcount strategic and tactical plan, guarantee both the quantity and quality of the hiring, Ensure the recruitment approach is consistent with the company strategy ; Support the managers in defining the right profile in line with regional business context and in the creation of the job requisition in the system
  • Internships & Apprentices:                                                                                                                                                                          Management of all contacts and agreements with University, Public Institutions, Internship Desk, etc in order to maintain the active network and to guarantee the Internship positions are covered in time and based on specific learning project;

Management of the university posting and activation of all Internship; provide data to Payroll  team for the mandatory registration and communication to the institutions (insurance, social services);

 

Performance Management:

 

  • Contribute and Support the HRBP in the delivery of the Performance Management processes and operational activities in Company Systems ( SAP Success Factor)  in order to enhance people empowerment in the local organization and in line with the Company’s strategy
  • Support employees/Manager as needed, during the full performance management cycle
  • Support the Management of  low Performances through Performance Improvement Plan and execution

 

Training & Development

 

  • Contribute and Support the HRBP in the delivery of the Training & Development programs – looking specifically at those mandatory by Italian legislation
  • Support preparation of Funded Training Plan and related agreement with Unions

 

Benefit Administration

 

  • Evaluates, recommends, and administers employee’s benefit programs at TCE level.
  • Communicate the advantages of benefit packages to management and staff and stay abreast of employee benefits information.
  • Manage benefits transactions and work with vendors to make decisions about appropriate packages at local level, in particular on Health Insurance and Welfare.

 

International Mobility 

  • Support the Internal mobility process execution in an environment that is continuously looking and supporting international mobility, as well as bringing people onboard with diverse background in terms of culture and nationalities.

 

Projects :

  • Support employee engagement activities (also related to employee engagement survey)
  • Support local CSR activities
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activities as preparation for new projects
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.

  • Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews
  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies
  • networking and interaction with peers and other HR pillars

 

 

Requirements:

  • degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relation, Law  is the minimal education requirement
  • Master post lauream  in Industrial Relation and / or Labour Law desired

 

Experience :

  • Minimum of 5  years experience in similar roles in Industrial relations management
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in HR
  • Experience in multinational company

 

Knowledge / Skills :

  • Excellent technical knowledge of industrial relations management
  • Experience with HR management
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • English and Italian language are a  must
