ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

You will support the implementation and continuous improvement of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs within manufacturing and testing areas at our Rome Technical Center.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be part of a diverse, collaborative group committed to creating a safe and healthy workplace for all.

Responsibilities:

·  Promote and support the deployment of the EHS Management System across all operations and R&D processes.

·  Perform EHS internal audits based on ISO standards and compliance requirements.

·  Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the development of safety performance indicators.

·  Support the definition and implementation of Health and Safety standards and procedures.

·  Contribute to chemical management activities, including MSDS handling and risk assessments.

·  Collaborate in the development of EHS training and multimedia materials.

·  Foster a proactive safety culture, including among contractors and external stakeholders.

·  Support innovation initiatives related to safety and sustainability.

·  Participate in the continuous improvement of EHS programs through the PDCA (Deming) cycle.

·  Provide timely support to EHS-related questions and needs from business units and teams

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification:

Ø  University Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Ø  Certification in ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 or similar is a plus

 

Experience (years):

Ø  1–3 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in industrial or R&D environments

 

Technical Skills:

Ø  Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Ø  Familiarity with risk assessment methods and audit techniques.

Ø  Understanding of EHS regulations and chemical safety requirements.

Ø  Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

 

Languages Skills:

Ø  Fluent in written and spoken English.

Ø  Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Ø  Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Ø  Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ø  Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Ø  Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
