ABOUT THE ROLE

Job purpose

 

As a Transfer Pricing Specialist, you will support tax and transfer pricing (TP) compliance across the EMEA region. You will work within the Bridgestone EMEA Tax Center of Excellence, collaborating closely with the central and local tax and finance teams.

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a central tax team with visibility across the EMEA region, helping you develop both technical expertise and business partnering skills to advance your career.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support transfer pricing compliance across EMEA, including preparation of local files and supporting country-by-country reporting
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Bridgestone EMEA business and tax requirements in relevant jurisdictions
  • Monitor global developments in transfer pricing regulations and guidelines
  • Support tax audits and respond to tax authority inquiries
  • Help develop and maintain transfer pricing policies and procedures
  • Recommend and implement process improvements, harmonization initiatives, and technology-driven efficiencies in tax processes

 

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Education, Master, other certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an in-house tax function and/or a tax advisory firm
  • Prior exposure to transfer pricing would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of OECD transfer pricing guidelines and local tax regulations
  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting entries affecting TP

 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • SharePoint, SAP, and SAP BPC familiarity would be a plus

 

Languages Skills:

  • English (C1 level)

 

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

  • Effective communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Willingness to grow in the area of international taxation
  • Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast paced multinational environment
