Job Purpose
We are looking for an RTR Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day General Ledger operations, supporting audits, driving process improvements, and acting as a key point of contact for RTR-related matters. You will also support and oversee the work of RTR Accountants and contribute to departmental projects and standardization initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day General Ledger operations: journal entries posting, accrual calculation, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed assets accounting, month-end closing tasks, intercompany reconciliation, various reports’ preparation and analysis
- Leads departmental projects and standardization initiatives
- Takes initiative to improve processes, communication or overall work environment
- Ensures daily operations are carried out according to the Group finance policies and the J-SOX requirements
- Coordinate group audit process
- First line contact and support to any RTR related queries
- Demonstrates ability to effectively manage priorities
- Supports verification and control over balance sheet reconciliations, closing checklists completion and intercompany reconciliations performed by RTR Accountants
- Oversees KPI analysis, root cause identification and improvement suggestions
- Supports a Team Leader in any additional activities such as projects coordination and ad hoc requests
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education, Master, other certification:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger processes
Technical Skills:
- Very good knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to review, understand, and interpret financial data
Languages Skills:
- Fluent English
Soft/Behavioral Skills:
- High level of customer service and communication skills
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and automation
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
