ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

We are looking for an RTR Junior Accountant reporting directly to the RTR Team Leader. This is a local role based in Poznań SSC. The position is offered as a temporary contract for approximately 1.5 years. As a Record-to-Report Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for accurate, efficient, and timely processing of general ledger activities. You will support key RTR processes and take initiative to improve workflows, communication, and the overall work environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support in RTR processes such as journal entries posting, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets accounting, month-end closing, intercompany reconciliations, and report preparation
  • Post and verify the correctness of accounting entries
  • Participate in departmental projects and standardization initiatives
  • Take initiative to improve processes, communication, or the work environment
  • Assist with the annual audit process
  • Support KPI analysis, root cause identification, and propose improvements
  • Assist the Team Leader with additional activities and ad hoc requests

 

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification:

  • Relevant secondary education or post-secondary accounting training

Experience (years):

  • Some experience in an accounting environment (internship); experience in General Ledger is a plus

Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Basic knowledge of SAP FI or other financial/accounting systems
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles
  • Ability to review, understand, and interpret financial data

Languages Skills:

  • Good English (B1–B2 level)

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

  • High level of customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive and improvement-oriented mindset
