ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

Joining Bridgestone SSC Poznań as a Logistics Specialist or Senior Logistics Specialist is a unique opportunity to further develop your career in one of two key logistics areas: Planning or Transport. Depending on your skills and interests, you can apply to the team that best matches your experience and aspirations.

You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth execution of logistics processes, supporting business operations, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic, international environment. You will work with modern tools, collaborate with experts from various fields, and have a real impact on the efficiency and quality of our logistics operations.

As a Logistics Specialist or Senior Logistics Specialist, you will:

  • Independently manage assigned logistics tasks with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and customer requirements
  • Analyze and resolve routine issues, and provide recommendations or escalate complex problems to the Team Leader
  • Participate in projects and ad hoc assignments, using your technical and business knowledge to plan, initiate, and execute improvements
  • Cooperate with other teams and external partners to ensure effective logistics operations

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure service delivery for all logistics processes in accordance with performance, quality, legal, and customer standards
  • Analyze problems and make timely recommendations or escalate complex issues as needed
  • Prepare and register standard and non-standard reports, operational files, and departmental process indicators
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction and actively participate in projects
  • Assist in ensuring that logistics processes and all operating procedures are clearly defined, up-to-date, and documented
  • Support audits and documentation efforts
  • For Planning: manage customer orders, plan and implement deliveries, analyze stock and shipments, cooperate with warehouses and external providers, handle claims and returns
  • For Transport: manage transport planning and monitoring , cooperate with the Central Traffic Team, report transport challenges and support transport process improvements

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification:

  • Bachelor or Engineer degree in international trade or logistics (can be during studies)

Experience:

  • Logistics Specialist: Minimum 1 year as a customer service specialist, logistics specialist, transport specialist, forwarder,  logistics assistant, or planner
  • Senior Logistics Specialist: Minimum 3 years in a similar role

Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge of Office 365 (especially Excel)
  • Basic knowledge of Power Platform, SAP E4P/WHP/Ariba, P44, Magnitude Angles, Transporeon (as an advantage)
  • Basic knowledge of regulations (international trade, customs, tax)

Languages Skills:

  • Polish – perfect command required
  • English – communicative, spoken and written
