POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

The ESG Compliance and Value Creation Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex processes to meet diversified ESG compliance requirements, with particular reference to ESG disclosure and ESG-related trade/financial requirements. In addition, this role will also identify areas of value creation and capture opportunities for business such as minimizing cost of compliance, accelerating operational excellence (improving quality of the business processes), and enhance competitive differentiation.  

This role ensures that all processes run smoothly and timely, and conducts periodic reviews to ensure that the processes and resources are functioning effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, understanding of ESG compliance regulations, using this information to improve the quality of business processes and the ability to manage and optimize processes efficiently.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance processes tailored to the organization’s needs.
  • Collaborate with various functions to integrate compliance processes into existing workflows.
  • Document compliance processes and ensure they are accessible and understandable.
  • Identify and improve process quality and operational excellence.
  • Ensure all processes meet legal requirements and update them with regulatory changes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor the performance of compliance processes and use data analytics for tracking.
  • Conduct regular internal controls to verify compliance effectiveness.
  • Drive synergies across projects to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and streamline communication.
  • Allocate necessary resources (personnel, technology, budget) for compliance processes.
  • Provide training and support to staff involved in compliance processes.
  • Achieve 100% compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Prevent compliance-related incidents through proactive risk management.
  • Maintain high process efficiency and seek synergies between different processes.
  • Continuously improve compliance processes based on feedback and changing regulations.
  • Leverage ESG regulations to improve business quality and drive competitive differentiation.

 

Requirements:

  • Education, Master, other certification: degree in Economics / Management / Accounting / Law / Engineering. Specialization in sustainability compliance is a plus
  • Languages skills: English is a must, Italian, French, Polish is a plus
  • Experience (years): minimum 4 years
  • Technical Knowledge: MS Office (particularly MS Excel), certification in Project Management
  • Soft Skills: Analytical Thinking, Attention to Detail, Collaboration, Communication, Problem-Solving, Adaptability, Project Management, Continuous Improvement
