ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Pourpose

 

As a Costing Specialist within our SSC Financial Operations team, you will be responsible for standard costing activities in SAP, working closely with Finance, Transfer Pricing and Master Data teams. This role focuses on daily execution and maintenance of standard cost data, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

You will handle assigned tasks with attention to detail and reliability, supporting smooth system operations.

 


 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform daily standard cost maintenance in SAP, including handling ad-hoc requests for missing standard costs
  • Execute standard costing for tires, pre-cured tires (PCT), and assemblies (production and subcontracting flows)
  • Upload and maintain standard costs for import sources, in cooperation with Transfer Pricing
  • Analyze extension reports and ensure timely standard cost updates in SAP
  • Coordinate material master data updates, liaising with Master Data teams
  • Support monthly activities, including opening periods for standard cost marking
  • Perform basic analysis and provide insights on standard costing upon request
  • Perform year-end preparation activities, including updates of mark-ups, budget rates, activity type prices and costing runs
  • Support and act as backup for Transfer Pricing processes
  • Ensure data accuracy and process compliance in all assigned activities

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor or supplementary studies at Finance and Accounting at least initiated or an external accounting training finalized with a certificate
  • Minimum 1,5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytical roles
  • Fluent English (C1) is a must
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in working with SAP FI or other ERP/financial systems
  • Basic knowledge or initial exposure to SAP MM (Inventory) is an asset
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Ability to review, understand and interpret financial data
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in daily work
  • Good communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to follow processes and work with defined procedures
  • Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop in costing area
  • Team player, comfortable working in an international environment
  • Confidentiality and high level of integrity
  • Positive attitude, motivation, and eagerness to grow within the role
