Job Purpose

We are looking for a VAT Technology Expert reporting directly to the Vat Team Leader. This is a EMIA role, based in Poznań.

You will support the company in the design, development and maintenance of core VAT Compliance Technologies. You will work with internal and external partners and convert legislative and business changes into system technical requirements. Ownership of work is extremely important, and you should have a proven record of working with projects to their completion. 



  • Liaison between VAT Team and both internal and external partners to collect and understand upcoming changes in legislation and business

  • Support the company in transition to the future VAT Technology

  • Give input into regional and global projects and process discussions

  • Participate actively in full project life-cycle to make sure that project is align with the business and legislative requirements.

  • Maintenance of VAT determination Logic

  • Check, validate and identify errors in the system



  • Team Player who can easily translate VAT language into technical language
  • Demonstrate ownership, initiate and implement change with a problem solving approach
  • Very good understanding of a customer’s needs
  • Expert knowledge of SAP is a must
  • S4Hana knowledge & experience are highly appreciated
  • SAP tax reporting components (tax modules) knowledge & experience are highly appreciated
  • Strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel and other software
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in a VAT compliance role in multinational organization
  • Managing SAP tax determination logic or other tax technology is an advantage
  • Command of ABAP languages is an advantage
