General Worker

Job Purpose 

As a general worker in the warehouse you will performs a range of tasks associated with the handling, packing, loading and offloading  and of tyres. The role often involves physical labor and requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to follow instructions.

Key Performance Areas

1. Tyre Handling

1. • Load and unload tyres from delivery vehicles, racks, and storage areas.
   • Transport tyres to designated work areas using trolleys, forklifts, or manually.

2. Tyre Inspection
   • Check tyres for defects, damage, or irregularities during production or delivery.

2. • Measure tyre tread depth and check pressure levels, ensuring they meet safety standards.

3. Warehouse Operations

3. • Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly storage area for tyres and materials.
   • Label, tag, and record inventory of tyres as per company policy.

4. Safety and Compliance

4. • Follow all health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
   • Operate machinery such as forklifts, jacks, and tyre balancing machines in compliance with safety protocols.

5. General Maintenance

5. • Clean and maintain the work environment, ensuring that production areas, storage, and equipment are in good working condition.
   • Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies.

6. Team Collaboration

6. • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production and quality targets.
   • Communicate issues or challenges to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications & Expérience Required

Education, Master, other certification

• . High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift or machinery operation certification is a plus.

Experience (years):

• Basic knowledge of tyre types, sizes, and handling techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
