ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

Wholesale Manager TBR will be responsible for the management and development of the wholesale distribution channel for Truck & Bus Radial tyres. The role aims to ensure effective market coverage, optimize the network of wholesalers and distributors, and ensure that sales strategies are aligned with business objectives.

Main responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for achieving the assigned business objectives, ensuring growth and profitability.
  • Plan and execute annual agreements on each product segment: order acquisition, sales campaigns, PO campaigns, sell-out actions and out-of-stock management.
  • Execute pricing tactics and strategies, ensuring compliance with internal policies and proper management of trading conditions.
  • Develop and present customized action plans for the implementation of the strategy in the short and long term.
  • Ensure proper credit management across all product segments.
  • To be Bridgestone's point of contact for key customers, acting as an advisor to strengthen partnerships and satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular communications with wholesalers and distributors to monitor sales, market trends, and gather feedback.
  • Work with your retail/area sales manager and marketing team to perform field tasks and manage channel development, reducing conflicts and supporting business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a network of wholesalers and distributors as intermediaries between manufacturer, retailers and final fleets.
  • Create a multi-level sales network with clear and defined roles for each distributor.
  • Ensure broad geographic and market coverage, optimizing logistics efficiency and delegating inventory management to wholesalers.
  • Provide ongoing training to distributors on products and sales techniques.
  • Implement promotion and incentive programs to stimulate commercial performance.
  • Monitor KPIs and sales reports to assess the effectiveness of the WS channel and adapt strategies based on market changes.
  • Promote sustainable solutions, such as retreaded tyres and eco-friendly products.
  • Integrate advanced technologies to optimize logistics and inventory management.
  • Collect and share information on market trends, retail and wholesale sales, evolution of the customer structure and stocks.
  • Monitor product news, market size, and automotive trends.
  • Analyze pricing, trade marketing, and competitors' business models (customer support, supply, credit limits).
  • Operate within compliance guidelines for information collection and sharing.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align campaigns and promotions with distribution activities.
  • Work with your sales team to ensure competitive bidding and meet customer needs.

 

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, fact-based negotiation skills, autonomy, problem-solving skills, coordination skills, ability to act as a "window" for the client, covering the role of coordinator of various operational teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Good experience in contact with customers, with 3/5 years in a similar role (experience in the tire sector is a plus).
  • Strong aptitude for customer focus.
  • Results-oriented, resilient and flexible in adapting to new challenges and openness to change in a dynamic environment.
  • Residency in Madrid.
