ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose:

As a Finance Manager in a tire manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for the overall management of local financial operations. Your role is to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency of financial processes, while supporting management with reliable insights for business decision-making. You will play a key role in improving financial performance and supporting the achievement of strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team
  • Supervise all accounting processes, ensuring compliance with local legislation and group policies
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to local authorities and group headquartersAnalyze deviations versus budget and previous periods, providing clear explanations
  • Prepare monthly forecasts based on input from operational teams
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data and identify root causes of variances
  • Implement and enforce internal policies and procedures within the organization
  • Monitor tax compliance in line with local regulations
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process and ensure deadlines are met
  • Manage cash flow and define daily financial priorities
  • Support internal and external audits and follow up on action plans
  • Lead financial workstreams in internal projects
  • Identify and implement process improvements impacting financial data and efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams on strategic and operational topics

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

Experience:

  • Several years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in a manufacturing (ideally automotive) environment
  • Leadership experience is an advantage

 

Technical / Practical Knowledge:

  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting experienceERP system knowledge (e.g., SAP) is an advantage
  • Advanced Excel and data handling skills

Language Skills:

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
