Job Purpose
We are looking for an Original Equipment - Executive Manager reporting directly to the Consumer Director. This is a Local role, based in Midrand, Gauteng.
You will be Accountable for overall sales achievement and strategy of OE sales channels. Maximize sales growth and optimize profits through negotiating with senior stakeholders from large key accounts and focusing on more long term sales horizon. Manage OE strategic account(s) across Southern Africa region, customer relationship building, opportunity management, negotiation, and grow sales and profitability in line with OE sales strategic objectives and global OE business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Southern Southern Africa OE sales strategies, review and advice on pricing policies, products mix, and brand portfolio.
- Lead the team working on those customers (Sales/Engineering/Administrations/LSCM)
- Sales Forecasting, planning and agreement / contract negotiation in accordance with overall sales strategy.
- Review and monitor sales performance, and refine sales strategies as required in discussion within OE sales and the wider sales organisation.
- Work with counterparts in other BS Regions on common approach to OE business
- Works closely with Marketing teams and Replacement sales teams, and creates collaborative environment for enhancing sales growth in Southern Africa.
- Interact with the prospect customers and reinforce the OE Sales strategy
- Maintaining and managing key customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow business.
- Developing alternative direct sales strategies aimed at achieving and / or exceeding the predetermined sales objectives to support the growth of the business.
- Coordinate the activities of all functions with whom the customer has direct contact in order to provide a consistent and cohesive service.
- Support the introduction of innovative new products, solutions and technologies to maintain and expend BS technology leadership in OE business
- Monitor competitive activity within accounts and disseminate information to relevant parties.
- Manage sales expansion, introduction of new products/services to clients and organizing visits to current and potential clients.
Requirements:
- NQF L7 Business Management Degree is essential
- At least 6 year’s senior management experience in a Sales environment
- Advanced Financial Management skills (Profit & Loss / Balance sheet)
- MS Office Advanced
- Team leadership skills
- Analytical with strong business acumen
- Must have a positive momentum, solid work ethic and result driven
- Effective decision making skills, planning & implementation and communication skills
- Excellent Interpersonal, Negotiations and Effective Communication skills
- Postgraduate Degree is preferred
- Working SAP Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of tire product and manufacturing to discuss with customer
