ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Job Purpose

The successful candidate for this role will report into the Human Resource Business Partner Lead and will be responsible for delivering HR programs and support to the Wholesale Division including Shared Services. In this role you will be responsible for the day to day HR Administration, Support internal stakeholders with HR related queries. You will also support the HRBP Lead with Employee Relations Matters, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management Processes, Learning and Development and employee queries.

 

Human Resource Business Partner (12 Month fixed term contract) - Wholesales Division in Midrand South Africa

Responsibilities:

Talent Management

  • Coordinate the end-to-end talent acquisition process by working closely with the talent team as well as the hiring manager.
  • Ensure that the vacancy requisition is duly authorised and that the position is advertised.
  • Participate in the short-listing process together with the hiring manager and the talent acquisition partner.
  • Ensure that the interviews have been scheduled and that the interview guides have been set up.
  • Participate in interview processes and that recruitment processes are closed out as per the hiring timelines.
  • Follow up with line managers to ensure that the performance review and goal setting processes are completed as per the business timelines.
  • Support the HR Business partner lead with the succession planning process to ensure that successors are identified, development plans are in place and risks are tracked.

 

HR Administration

  • Process all documents required for on-boarding and off-boarding employees together with the HR operations team.
  • Ensure that all org changes are processed and that the organisation structures on SuccessFactors are up to date.
  • Ensure that vacancies on SuccessFactors are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain employee relations tracker.
  • Compile HR reports as required.

Employee Relations

  • Support the business with employee relations matters ie disciplinary’s, grievances and poor performance in line with Company Policies as well as the Labour Relations Act or any other applicable local legislation in collaboration with the HR Business Partner Lead.

HR Projects

  • Support the HR leadership team in executing projects in support of the HR Strategy

 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience Required

 

Education, Master, other certification:

  • A minimum of 3-year HR Degree/ National Diploma or an equivalent qualification.

Experience (years):

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a same or similar role

Technical Skills:

  • Labour Relations Act
  • Basic Condition of employment act
  • Talent Management

Languages Skills:

  • English

Soft/Behavioral Skills:
