POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Tyre Maintenance Training Coordinator reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager. This is a field based role, based in South / South East UK.

 

Job Purpose

 

Your role will be supporting the mileage business accounts & operations manager with PSV tyre technician training to NTDA level. You will complete H&S depot audits/risk assessments as well as being responsible for the installation and monitoring of the Bridgestone telematics system within PSV accounts. Your role will ensure maximum use of tyres and protect Bridgestone’s interest at all times.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work on own initiative and with the team in the area.
  • Prioritise and manage the workloads within your designated area.
  • Cover PSV depots in the case of awaiting new candidates and long term sickness.
  • Train new and current tyre technicians to level one competence in all aspects of tyre husbandly-fitment/removal of wheel assemblies, stripping and fitting of tyres, re-grooving, minor repairing & correct tyre inspection practise. 
  • Train current tyre technicians to NTDA accreditation.
  • Act as a key liaison for training and evaluator in new contract wins.
  • Be able to carry out regular tyre depot audits, which also covers H&S assessments.
  • Control and monitor the Bridgestone telematics system effectively within PSV accounts.
  • Control tyre stocks to 100% accuracy within designated PSV accounts.
  • Process tyre movements via internal computer system.
  • Audit documentation and assist in processing queries in the field.
  • Always ensure that we exceed customer expectation.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have Training & fitting experience.
  • Flexible working style.
  • Willing to work away from home.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Clear attention to detail.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Ability to prioritise work and be effective under pressure.
  • Confidentiality.
