ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

To provide strong leadership and guidance to the PSV Operations Managers and tyre technicians who are responsible for delivering a quality service to Bridgestone PSV customers. Build strong relationships with Engineering Directors & Chief Engineers. Ensure contractual compliance, with profitability of accounts without affecting safety and customer focus. Have a high focus on H&S with regards the Bridgestone field operatives and customers workshops. Control stock inventory and fleet parks impacting the “stock valuation reporting” and fleet profitability.

Responsibilities:

 

  • CUSTOMER FOCUSED - Maintain the relationship with the senior & middle management in all PSV fleets in the areas of responsibility to include
    • Monthly ED Contact
    • Quarterly ED & Additional Management Formal Review
    • Ensure smooth implementation of new contracts – staff/equipment/contacts etc – with support of line manager.
    • To always ensure that we exceed customer expectations

 

  • COST TO SERVE - Ensure all KPIs for the direct reports are achieved in the region with particular focus on
    • Depot Audits
    • Damage Tyres
    • Engineering Meetings
    • Revenue Capture
    • Stock Control
    • Budgeted consignment tyre fitments

 

  • GREAT PLACE TO WORK - Personnel Supervision
    • Support in the recruitment of new recruits
    • Secondary point of contact on disciplinary issues
    • Maintain process for directs through success factors
    • Ensure a high focus on H&S for technicians & customers

 

  • FINANCIAL
    • Review P&L with Line Manager, identify variances and agree improvement steps
    • Agree budgets with Finance and Line Manager
    • Constant focus WDGLL with customer focus

Requirements:

  1. Must have good accountancy knowledge.
  2. Flexible working style.
  3. Excellent communicator.
  4. Good IT skills.
  5. Clear attention to detail.
  6. Valid driving licence.
  7. Ability to prioritise work and be effective under pressure.
  8. Confidentiality.
