ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We are looking for a qualified Team Lead Field Engineer (m/f/d) – in Field Service – to join us as soon as possible to deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of Field Engineers (Market Technical Engineers) in the DACH and Nordic regions, aligning with their goals and projects, and overseeing and managing field engineering activities
  • Supporting market observation and analyzing product performance (including benchmarking against competitors) through product testing, customer surveys, and market monitoring
  • Participation in projects, expert meetings (e.g., technical and sales-related), trade fairs (national/international), and technical training sessions (internal and external)
  • Implementation of sales-supporting measures across all product areas (focus on truck, passenger car, and agricultural tires), as well as providing technical support to customers and the sales team via phone and on-site visits
  • Supporting Key Account Managers and regional managers in fleet acquisition and preparing necessary information
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of product testing and market intelligence projects, including subsequent analysis and presentation of results in technical committees
  • Quality control and implementation of measures to maintain and improve product quality

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Education, Degree, or Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification such as certified automotive technician (e.g., Master Vulcanizer, Master Automotive Technician), or a comparable technical qualification

Professional Experience:

  • Extensive relevant professional experience, ideally in the tire industry; customer service experience is a plus

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); basic knowledge of SAP is an advantage

Language Skills:

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of French, Italian, or Nordic languages is a plus

Soft Skills / Behavioral Competencies:

  • Quick comprehension, strong coordination and organizational skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset
  • Flexible, high willingness to travel, and readiness for assignments both at headquarters and in the field
