ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a qualified

Field Engineer – Northern and Eastern Germany (m/f/d) to provide our customers with first-class service as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Market observation, as well as collection and analysis of product performance (including competitive comparison through field data collection)
  • Implementation of sales-supporting measures across all product areas (focus on truck, passenger car, agricultural, tire sensors) and support for our customers and field sales team on all technical matters
  • Technical problem-solving and handling of complaints both on-site and centrally
  • Conducting technical training sessions, internally and externally
  • Co-responsible for organizing, executing, and analyzing tire tests in collaboration with the European technical team
  • Documentation and report preparation
  • Participation in projects and trade fairs, nationally and internationally

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education, Degree, Certifications:

  • Completed technical training in the automotive sector, e.g., master mechanic / technician or equivalent qualification
  • Solid MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Basic SAP knowledge is an advantage

Professional Experience:

  • Experience in the automotive sector, ideally in the tire industry; customer service experience is a plus

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Confident use of laptops, tablets, etc.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken

Soft Skills / Behavioral Competencies:

  • Quick comprehension
  • Solution-oriented approach
  • Good self-organization
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel, as well as occasional weekend assignments (mainly Saturdays)
