The Person

We are looking for an HDV Driver reporting directly to the Branch Manager.

This is a Local role, based in Witbank.

 

You will assist with the collection and transportation of goods. Maintain good customer relations by providing excellent customer service. Assist with breakdowns even after hours

Qualifications & Experience

Essential: 

  • Grade 12
  • Valid Code CE Drivers License & PDP
  • Two years HDV Driving experience
  • Self disciplined with high level of integrity
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills

Duties

The following is a general list of tasks that the candidate is required to perform. The Company may add to or vary these duties from time to time provided the variation is reasonable having regard to the employee’s skills, competence and training.

    • Collection and transportation of goods
    • Client liaison and accurate record keeping of all goods in transit
    • Perform breakdown service after hours.
    • Daily vehicle inspection and ensure clean vehicle appearance at all times
    • Ensure vehicle is serviced at correct intervals
    • Adhere to traffic regulations
    • Adherence to company policy and procedures
    • Adhere to Health and Safety protocol.
    • Attend all in house training.
