Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to lead the retail strategy of 60 across the MEA region. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of managing a retail network and knowledge of diverse business subjects such as sales, marketing, finance and procurement. The goal is to support BSMEA partners in the region to manage their retail network as a profitable and sustainable business as well as expand the foot print of the Bridgestone Family Channel network, enhancing brand visibility in the region as well as getting a fair share of the market. The role demands operational experience in managing mobile services and acting as the catalyst to this emerging concept within the Bridgestone partner equity network. Exposure to ecommerce and digital solutions will be an added advantage that will be essential to onboard Bridgestone partners into the phygital ecosystem.
Main responsibilities & key activities:
Mobility Solutions - Transformation from the Brick & Mortar to Phygital ecosystem
- To spearhead the transformation process with the partner equity network by rolling out BS initiatives in mobility solutions and digital commerce
- To nurture Mobility solutions MOBOX launched in the region and expand into the new markets.
- To develop the go to market approach for the digital commerce project in the region.
- To play a key role in the development of EV network in the region and conceptualize the business model that would ensure a revenue stream through monetization of EV charging and EV car servicing.
Retail Business Consultant to our Partners driving profitable growth in Partner equity
- To liaison with partners and understand the pain points and challenges of the partner retail network and offer practical and solutions to turnaround non profitable store to profitable and sustainable point of sales.
- Conducts audits and evaluations at the stores on the customer journey and process and procedures to ensure that partner network is customer centric and offers a delightful customer experience.
- Analysis of Sales reports and work hand in hand with partners to make the transformation from a tire centric business to diversified portfolio of products and services increasing the revenue stream and adding to the bottom line.
- Analysis of Financial statements and guide partners on areas of improvement by deep diving into margins, opex and opportunity of rebates through centralized procurement
Expanding the Retail Footprint for Bridgestone:
- To liaison with BS team and partners in the region and identify white spots in the territory and recommend potential pockets to expand the footprint in the region.
- To evaluate the proposal put forward, evaluate the in house share for BS and share of HRD and HRD+ and approve the recommendations into the BS Family Channel.
- To monitor the progress of the Family Channel projects in terms of adherence to Brand guidelines, budgets and audits and ensure payments are effected as per the MOU.
- To keep a tight leash on the OPEX of the PBU and manage the projects well within the approved budgets.
As the Catalyst promoting Remote Services
- To motivate partners in offering remote services to customers – through pick and drop services or through mobile services vans.
- To guide partners on the selection of equipment, vehicle and layout for the mobile service van and operational guidelines to run the mobile service van efficiently.
- To offer the best practices to make mobile service van operations of partners a successful and sustainable business model
