Job Purpose
The Pricing Professional reports to the Sales Operations Manager- MEA. This is a regional role, based in Dubai, also interacting with our entities based in Middle East and Africa.
The Pricing Analyst works closely with sales team to ensure the successful delivery of Bridgestone MEA pricing objectives.
The Pricing Analyst owns the price list, continuously monitors and reports on actual pricing structures and performance of the company (vs. budget, YoY, MoM). The role also prepares accurate and relevant pricing analysis utilizing relevant tools. Highlights when there are price developments in the region and communicates pricing challenges to the relevant stakeholders. The role drives operational implementations related to pricing in MEA and is responsible for ensuring audit requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
- Price set-up and Price-list Management
- Support to set-up prices based on relevant positioning and market-back approach of Bridgestone vs. competition that is in-line with the BS pricing strategy.
- Updates prices in the system as per the internal pricing process.
- Supports sales managers to make correct pricing of products.
- Checks and validates forecast and budget pricing.
- Owns and drives the price list.
- Manages stakeholders to ensure sharing of information.
- Analysis and Reporting
- Building and communicating relevant pricing analysis / reports mainly through MS Excel & Power point (dashboards).
- Improve transparency and communication on key sizes/key customers in between all markets and local regional management by providing the right level of information.
- Pricing Compliance and Audit
- Communication to ensure all processes are adhered to by all parties.
- Strive to develop improvements to current pricing processes, tools & systems.
