Role Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Field Engineering for Bridgestone Middle East & Africa (BSMEA), you will lead the development and implementation of all technical training programs with our partners within the Middle East, North Africa and several emerging markets. You will also be accountable for internal technical training activities across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and Morocco. With a focus upon the development of highly commercial technical programs, you will seek to enhance the technical sales capabilities of our partners and colleagues for new and existing products, technologies and channels. This will include current and forthcoming technologies, unique selling points, market intelligence, consultative selling techniques and digital methodologies to further develop the position of Bridgestone as the premium tire organization in the MEA region.

 

Role Requirements:

Degree qualified, with a minimum of 8 years experience within the tire industry, and over 3 years experience within a management training role, you will have a track record of success in the development and execution of large scale and customized training programs. Highly commercial and able to foster long- term collaborative relationships with both our partners and colleagues, you will thrive within a multicultural matrix environment working across diverse markets.  Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.

 

 

  • Develops, standardizes, adapts and delivers global, regional and local training programs across the BSMEA region.
  • Embraces digital content and E-learning techniques, working in conjunction with E-learning COE to design content types and ensure optimal BSMEA training assets.
  • Works cross functionally across Technical, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing within BSMEA and with global and regional technical and L&D teams.
  • Seeks new approaches, methods and technologies to develop engaging and compelling programs.
  • Highly responsive and engaging communicator able to independently develop compelling narratives.
  • Able to coach at a senior level, and build long term relationships internally and externally.
  • Budget management and analysis of blended and digital program effectiveness to ensure ROI.
  • Able to travel frequently as appropriate.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
