ABOUT THE ROLE

Job purpose

The North Africa MTT – Area manager Egypt and Levant is based in Cairo and will serve as a crucial link between the North Africa Branch and Dubai Head Quarters and local sales teams in assigned countries, providing expert technical knowledge on Bridgestone products and technical leadership. Reporting to the North Africa Branch MTT Manager, this role will enhance product understanding, support sales efforts, ensure customer satisfaction across diverse markets, ensures compliance with local regulations and embodying Bridgestone's commitment to "Serving Society with Superior Quality” with branch team.

Main Responsibilities

Technical Product Support (Commercial & Consumer)                                                                  RACI

Main accountabilities:

  • Follow up on tire tests for new products and prototypes
  • Gather and analyze competitor tire information
  • Develop and maintain Product Power Index
  • Provide after-sales monitoring support

Accountable / Responsible

Market Research and Analysis (Commercial & Consumer)

Main accountabilities:

  • Conduct operating condition surveys and scrap tire analysis
  • Perform Market Service condition Index (MSI) surveys
  • Collect and analyze Voice of Customer (VOC) data
  • Execute count surveys to assess market presence

Accountable / Responsible

Sales support (Commercial & Consumer)

Main accountabilities:

  • Provide product and claim handling training and technical seminars to local branch teams, distributor partners and fleet team
  • Daily support to sales team
  • Provide fleet approach and sales promotion with sales team
  • Develop strong relationships with fleet customers, distributors and technical stakeholders

Area quality management (Commercial & Consumer)

  • Local claim handling
  • Claim data analysis
  • Quality Concern Information and PL report
  • Spec suitability judgment

  • Local OEM distributor approach

Primary : Egypt and Levant Region – Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Lebanon, Iraq, PNA

Secondary : PAF region – Pakistan, Afghanistan

 

Experience and Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
  • Additional technical certifications are considered an advantage

Language Skills

  • Fluent English spoken and written
  • Fluent Arabic Speaker
  • Optional: French

Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the tire or automotive industry within technical segment
  • Proven track record in account management and technical sales
  • Experience in data analysis and presentation of technical information with proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Power BI, Tableau or else
  • Experience in technical support, product engineering, quality management, or field engineering
  • Previous regional or multi-country responsibility is preferred
  • Experience working closely with commercial and sales organizations

Technical Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge of Commercial and Consumer tire products
  • Experience in product performance analysis and tire testing
  • Knowledge of claim handling and quality management processes
  • Market intelligence and competitor benchmarking experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Power BI, Tableau or else skills
  • Strong presentation and technical training skills

Performance will be evaluated based on project-specific goals, including but not limited to:

  • Quality of market intelligence gathered and analyzed for diverse market conditions
  • Improvement in product performance and customer satisfaction metrics across all assigned markets
  • Effectiveness of technical support provided to sales teams in Egypt and Levant regions
