About the Role
Job Purpose
The Account Lead-Consumer will report to the Regional Director-Africa. The Account Lead is primarily responsible for handling distributers and customers in designated markets. This is a regional role, based in Cairo,Egypt interacting with our entities based in Egypt
The Account Lead is responsible for setting and executing the marketing sales plan and targets, in line with the Bridgestone Group core values. They take full ownership of their territory in regard to knowing the market channels, the competition and relevant pricing of the product.
Main responsibilities
1. Client & Account Management
- Manage relationships with distributor senior management and sales teams
- Lead key account management and ensure customer satisfaction
- Drive profitability for both distributors and Bridgestone
2. Market Development – Consumer Tyres
- Develop and execute consumer tyre market strategies across Egypt
- Analyze market trends, pricing, consumer behavior, and channel performance
- Monitor regional factors such as vehicle trends, seasonality, and regulations
- Translate insights into actionable business strategies
3. Business Development & Channel Management
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Expand distribution across retail, workshops, and regional channels
- Ensure optimal product mix, pricing, and market execution
- Track competitor activity and market dynamics
4. Supply Chain & Operations
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure product availability (1,000+ SKUs)
- Support stock optimization and forecasting
- Manage monthly orders and demand planning with distributors
5. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans
- Execute marketing activities and manage budgets with central teams
- Ensure alignment with Bridgestone MEA strategy and brand standards
- Enhance go-to-market strategies and operational efficiency
6. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Conduct market and competitor analysis
- Monitor product launches, promotions, and pricing trends
- Provide structured market feedback to regional/global teams
- Track distributor performance and implement improvement plans
7. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Act as a business consultant to distributors
- Ensure effective communication across all stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)
Experience
- 5-7 years of Proven experience in sales, key account management, or distribution management
- Experience in automotive or tyre industry is a strong advantage
- Regional (Africa/Middle East) exposure preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of market analysis, pricing, and sales planning
- Experience in supply chain coordination and forecasting
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
Languages
- English (mandatory)
- Arabic and/or French (preferred)
