Job purpose

The technical consultant team Benelux is responsible for all technical activities in the respective markets and ensures that the product quality is properly monitored and reported through product testing, technical warranty claim handling and performance reporting. Additionally, the team is responsible for the proper training of internals and customers concerning the performance of our products and also ensure the proper execution of our Bridgestone Fleet (service) contracts. Within this role you will be responsible for the follow-up of your customers in the Benelux region with a focus on the Netherlands.


Main responsibilities / Key result areas :

  1. Ensure proper execution of Service Level Agreements by our dealers for our contractual fleet business
  2. Warranty claim handling
    1. Ensure claims are handled in an efficient way (on time & solution finding) with proper information flow back to engineering, sales group and customers
    2. Ensure reporting to the head office about different technical problems occurred in your region using QA documents
    3. Technical tools checked according to ISO FE standards
    4. Support digital claim handling platform development and implementation
  3. Tire testing: according to priorities defined by West Region head office, coordinate the implementation of test tires at targeted customers and ensure regular reporting to TC management. 
  4. Collaboration and communication with relevant stakeholders (e.g. sales)
  5. Product training: support the technical manager in the organization of appropriate product trainings for distributors and/or internally.

Required capabilities


  • Strong technical insight with good commercial understanding
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Good communication skills both internally as with customers
  • Ability to prioritize, good planning and organization
  • Ability to work autonomously while keeping strong communication with colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Affinity with IT and digitalization processes



  • Bachelor level in a relevant Technical field (e.g. Automotive Engineering, etc.)
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in a hands-on technical role within tire business, the automotive sector, transport industry or related technical field.
  • Fluent in Dutch with a good level in English
