In Bridgestone Mobility Solutions BU (BMS BU), we help our customers to gain new insights based on technology, become more data-driven and take advantage of new opportunities arising from a connected and fast-changing world.

In Tyre Solutions, one of the four Lines of Business (LoB) within Bridgestone Mobility Solutions BU, we start from a Tire Centric approach but we go beyond Tire, by creating the link between our current Core Business (Tire & Rubber) and more advanced Mobility Solutions such as Webfleet Solutions.

This we achieve by adding technology (developed by WFS, by Bridgestone Digital-Lab or other (external) partnerships), which allows us to propose more data-driven decisions and increase our Value Propositions for our Customers, for our Retail organization and for selected Business Partners.

We target Private Customers, Fleets, OEMs.

We Incubate, Co-develop, Deploy Data-Driven Subscription-based Solutions.
Our ultimate goal is to deliver new sustainable and profitable Business Streams contributing to transform Bridgestone to become the most trusted partner in mobility solutions.


Job Description

The Tyre Solutions Business Manager BSSOR is responsible for:

  • Ensuring continuous growth of MOBOX B2C / MOBOX Pro B2B business in terms of Net Sales, Vehicle Subscriptions, Profitability and overall Operational Efficiency according the plans agreed at MTP and OB time.
  • Starting from the BMS/Tyre Solutions EMIA Vision, Goals and overall Roadmap, contribute to define and adapt the Go-to-Market approach for B2C / B2B and Channel Strategy to local reality in order to maximize effort and result in assigned markets.
  • Acting as window between BMS/Tyre Solutions EMIA team and local Regional departments/functions.
  • Integrating into the local Regional Solutions and Services team to leverage the digital capabilities (e.g. BeKube) and integrate with direct fleet business (e.g. BFS) offering
    (if applicable).
  • Act as Business Partner vs local Trade Channels and Networks in assigned markets.
  • Collaborating effectively with BMS/Tyre Solutions EMIA central team
    • to develop Digital and Trade Marketing plan according BMS/Tyre Solutions EMIA general guidelines
    • to support the development of the IT platform and processes
    • to support relevant legal and finance topics
    • to collaborate with the central Customer Care team
    • to establish and implement a timely and efficient deployment plan by Channel and by Network in assigned markets in coordination with local Regional departments/functions (when needed) to achieve the agreed targets and expected benefits.
  • Contributing to the preparation of the Mid-Term-Plan (MTP) and yearly Original Budget (OB) for assigned Markets, Channel and Networks by timely providing quality data. 


Key responsibilities


  • Accountable for achieving local Regional sales budget and KPIs every month.
  • Tyre Sales (sell-in/sell-out) and Demand analysis in order to optimize Subscription targets.
  • Monthly review of Subscriptions Forecast in order to achieve set goals.
  • Periodically reporting on market & tyre sales and Subscriptions situation.
  • Propose and implement countermeasures as required.


Go to Market:

  • Drive and deploy the G2M E2E for the Region, including active involvement in defining the channel assessment, pricing, IT and marketing with the concerned responsible central & local Regional teams.
  • Responsible for the network / dealer negotiations.
  • Engage with all relevant internal stakeholders such as Retail sales organization (BS, FST, …), Trade Marketing, …
  • Maintain relations with key customers.
  • Key Account Management of customers & partners (if applicable).
  • Promote the positive company image and develop good customer relations by participating in major customer events.


Value Proposition:

  • Active involvement to & contribution to the centrally led development of the value proposition and ensure the adaptation to local reality.
  • Own the local product offer set up. Support the definition of a Tyre Solutions offer differentiated by channel, lead the deployment, grant an on-time delivery.   
  • Engage with partners and industry to gather trends and VOC from the Region.


Collaboration with the Tyre Solutions central & local Regional (Solutions) organization:

  • Collaborate with the central Digital & Trade Marketing team to co-develop and steer the local Regional (Trade) Marketing plan and support its local implementation.
  • Engage with the Product Management and IT team to support the development of the Subscription platform and new processes.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Care team to achieve best dealer and customer UX.
  • Support and engage with the Legal and Finance teams to develop central and local venture evolutions as well as handling / solving day to day issues.

  • Manage and create a culture of team spirit and alignment with the external and internal stakeholders.
  • Pro-actively involved to shape and develop the business model.
  • Besides the Regional target delivery, ensure to deliver across the full SBU through collaboration, knowledge exchange and understand / embrace common business model changes.
  • Manage and assure full alignment with the central Tyre Solutions teams as well with the local Regional (Solutions) organization.

  • Be ready and open to take ownership of expanded Solution Business offer portfolio in same or complementary product groups in same or new/complementary channels.
