Job Purpose:
- We are looking for a LSCM (Logistics & Supply Chain Management) Business Controller West Europe reporting directly to the Regional LSCM Director West Europe and dotted line to the EMIA LSCM Finance Lead.
- You will have a 360 degree responsibility of the business controlling activities for all the Logistics Distribution Centers located in Bridgestone West Europe Region (France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands).
- You will act as Business Partner of the West Europe Region LSCM Director ensuring the adequate quantitative instruments, KPIs, cost variance analysis are timely made available to support his sound business decisions making.
- You will be part of an EMIA LSCM Business Controlling functional team with structured monthly routines and standardized reporting tools. You will be an active participant in utilizing and enhancing the Logistics and Supply Chain business controlling methodologies.
- You will be a key contact point for the Region West Head of Finance in order to ensure that the drivers of Freight & Distribution Costs impacting the regional P&L are properly explained and communicated.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the month end reporting package to track warehousing and logistics costs across the markets. In addition, you coordinate the centralized Accounting Department in order to ensure the monthly and yearly closing process deadlines are fulfilled.
- Leadership role in the elaboration of the yearly budget and quarterly financial forecast of the West region distribution centres.
- Anticipation and suggestions to the business partner of resolutions of operating issues that are impacting the financial results.
- Responsible of the financial analysis of the key investment decisions initiated by the West Region LSCM Director.
- Ensure compliance with all the relevant Bridgestone EMIA internal control and finance policies, support the EMIA LSCM Finance Lead and the Region CFOs in the internal and external audits engagements.
Requirements:
- Master degree in Finance or related
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in business controlling of which at least 2 years as a supply chain/logistics controller or plant controller
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Great analytical and problem solving skills. Willingness to take on related additional tasks and expand upon current responsibilities with minimal direction
- Advanced presentation skills with the requirement to adjust the communication style and level of detail depending on the audience
- Ability to work in an international environment team with the availability to travel abroad
- Experience or affinity with working in a continuous-improvement environment
- Languages skills: fluent English and French
- Experience with SAP is an asset
