Consumer Planning Intern

Job Purpose:
Operational, Import, NPI & Tactical Planning Consumer teams are part of Logistics & Supply Chain Planning department, being responsible for the Master production plan of Bridgestone EU consumer plants on Operational & Tactical horizon (up to 18 months), for Import Planning and New Product Introduction processes. The team is looking for a new intern to support different activities.
Main Responsibilities:
• Collecting data & issuing some of key reports shared with top management and other stakeholders.
• Supporting teams in some projects (i.e. reporting transfer to Power BI).
• Supporting teams in running simulations with OMP in order to spot constraints in the short/mid-term.
• Calculate monthly Import order purchase from other sources and prepare mid-term forecast.
• Collaborating with Centre of Excellence to identify OMP tool potential areas of improvement.
• Supporting OPP & Tactical leaders in data analysis & monthly Power Point presentations to plants & top management.
Consumer Planning Intern he/she will interact mainly with OPP & Tactical teams, but also with other stakeholders (plants, COE, tactical planning, distribution planning, demand planning, Sales and Suppliers from other Bridgestone entities).

Experience:
• Degree level expected: Bachelor or master’s degree in Supply Chain/ Operations/Engineering.
• Advanced level in MS Excel & Power Point, experience with OMP/MS Access/VBA/PowerBI is a plus.
• Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.
