POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:

 

We are looking for a AG Product Category Manager & OE Engineering to manage product categories for OEs and Replacement market in AG Business, in order to contribute directly to achieve sales targets in short-mid-long term through developing product / biz model strategy by segment approach & support Go-To-Market approach.

 

Main Activities:

 

 

  • Design and align OB/MTP product plan with commercial business strategy & operation.
  • Manage CFTs for product programs development, industrialization, launch and post launch surveillance. Act as a direct window from Biz to R&D.
  • To enhance brand perception, competitiveness of AG products in quality / performance / biz value / line-up point of view.
  • Ensure relationships and alignment with ‘WEST’ synergies AG prod planning team.
  • Lead & Support actively all EMEA AG OE customers from a technical engineering point of view.

 

The Job Requires to:

 

  1. Formulate future AG products value propositions through:

 

  • Understanding market requirements (i.e. through survey/analysis).
  • Regulation/Legislation scenario assessment.
  • Mapping competition.
  • Analyzing Technologies framework.
  • Integrating AG OE technical and innovative requirements.

 

  1. Support EMEA AG OE business by extending the commercial relationship with a technical strong support window.
  2. Translate future product value proposition to technical targets for R&D.
  3. Evaluate product performance in the field to verify its value.
  4. Provide mutual support for sales & marketing activities to communicate product values.

 

Typical Activities to be Executed in the Role:

 

  • Establish & maintain product road map based on business strategy and market trend/environment by segment, in order to study & implement effective new product launching and discontinuation.
  • Visit EMEA AG OE customers regularly in order to obtain up-to-date customer information and in order to communicate our technical possibilities.
  • Organize joint cooperation activities with the AG OE customers.
  • Link business strategy/direction with product & technology road map.
  • Plan/Establish/Implement and Manage new product launching activities.
  • Manage conflicts and mobilize through all related functions for competitive product line up in order to define and implement adequate product offering by segment.
  • Coordinate the Gate X submission for category projects’ approval within the New Product Development (NPD) Stage – Gate process.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering/Marketing/Product Management/Sales.
  • Professional experience in commercial B2B goods.
  • Team Leading background
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, used to working cross-functionally.
  • Communication clarity.
  • Planning and Organizing skills.
  • Strategic and lateral thinking.
  • Logical approach to problem solving & conflicts managemnt.
  • Fluent in English (Business Level).
